Seeking Authors for New College-Level Calculus 1 Courseware

• Do you believe in the power of inclusive content to promote equity in education and want to make a real impact?
• Are you excited about leveraging advanced technologies to enhance student learning in mathematics? 

Ohlinger Studios, an educational content and curriculum development company, is currently working to develop groundbreaking, transformative post-secondary Calculus 1 courseware with the goal of ensuring equity and success for all students in math courses and in college.  

Requirements

We seek authors with a strong ability to:  

• Break math concepts into appropriately sized, manageable pieces. 
• Illustrate concepts in creative and highly intuitive ways. 
• Motivate students through relevant connections to students' lives, especially with an equity lens.
• Create content that mathematicians will accept as correct/precise.
• Collaborate as a team player and meet virtually.
• Accept and offer constructive criticism as reviews will be extensive.
• Exhibit responsibility and responsiveness. 

This project requires a strong time commitment and is projected to start in September 2024 with an estimated end date of August 2025. Authors will be compensated.
