Company Overview

UMBC, a public research university and the youngest campus in
the University System of Maryland, was founded 50 years ago with
the mission to integrate teaching and research, with emphasis
on science, engineering, information technology, human services
and public policy. UMBC is situated in the Baltimore-Washington
corridor, just outside the Baltimore beltway, in close proximity
to several federal research agencies and R&D companies.
